67 SS 350 spark plug wire stands
« on: March 11, 2019, 06:49:14 PM »
Hi Guys,

I'm trying to figure out what the correct RH spark plug wire stand is for my June 67 RS/SS 350 Camaro is supposed to be.  I am seeing 2 versions. One that attaches to the valve cover and one that bolts to the right rear intake bolt.  I know that the later is used in 68, but I am wondering if it was more of a late 67 model year change over ?

thanks
Chris

I believe the orange one in the bottom pic is correct for the small block.  I'm pretty sure they were the same for all three years.

I've been using this car at Lucas Restorations as a reference for my car since my car is identical to it except for not being a pace car replica

I suppose they could have done it wrong, but it would be nice to know if it is.

Car is non K19/A.I.R./smog, correct?  Looking at the AIM, UPC 6 Sheet B5 View B, it looks more like the top one/upside down "L" that Lucas Restorations used.  I was also looking through my survivor pics and saw a mid-year V1229MU that appears to have that same L bracket, but a little hard to see.  I can't help as far a late year changes.
