Include dealer sticker as part of restoration?

I like the pic where it is on the deck lid, since it balances it out nicely. But on the rear panel, it seems to be more period correct, because of the visibility it would have gotten back then. So my vote would be rear panel. whats great is you can move it all around, depending on your mood, and it changes the look of the car. great job!

I like it best on the rear panel (which was generally the way dealers did them back then).

If I bought a car back then and a 'sticker' was on a painted surface, I'd raise H*** until they removed it without damage to the paint!   

On ordered cars, I always specified that they NOT install any stickers at the dealer, and to leave off all that other 'crap' that some dealers always wanted to do ...  U/C, special paint treatment, etc...

I ended up buying a Corvair from across the country to get my dealer badge back. Took me over 20 years to find one. Found it about 2 weeks after we painted the car...

I like this as Steve and I have Camaro's from same dealership and we were back to back at this years MCACN invitational display. I give Steve a huge thanks as HE gave me the script for my car. Yes, gave me! I say all the time I'm a lucky guy and thanks Steve.

very nice. Our good friend Bentley gave me a good used gas cap for my white 69 last year and while not rare, I appreciated it just the same. 

Dealer emblems are cool, not all dealers used them of course, and some emblems looked better than others.

  The rear deck is what most folks vote for when I bring the topic up at shows. But, I do move the placement around based on my 'mood'    I did place it on the left rear panel side and I like it because it seems to have more of a 'balanced' look being the Chevrolet is on the right of trunk lid. My wife hates the sticker and prefers, what she calls, the clean look.

  I would have loved it if Spielman made a metal medallion. I like them a whole lot better than the paper style, though I had mine made using bumper sticker material to hold up to the weather.

  I had a set of papers made up for the car from Paul at Winvoices to add to the final restoration goal. They look very authentic and do complete the restoration, as far as I can get it. And yes......I've requested Paul add a watermark (it is on the documents back) as I stated I would have done in a previous discussion.

Tail pan.  Thats where the dealer stuck them.  Oddly enough Austin; Bentley hooked me up with a dealer emblem for my 68 Z.  I had one but this one is more the correct era.
