I just spoke to the original owner of the Butternut Yellow L78, built the same week 7B, and he confirmed that he has the 5 rivet fan and Eaton clutch like mine, and that's how it was delivered new. Due to the limited space he could not get date information of the components. My understanding is this may have only occurred very late June & July. two other unique features our cars also came with 323 blocks which use in 67 was unverified back in 1996 when I purchased, and 840 head with the temp sender boss not drilled & tapped.
