1968 Camaro SS RS
« on: March 11, 2018, 10:43:01 PM »
In regards to a Canadian sold 1968 SS RS L48 4 speed Camaro, I have a few questions. The car was delivered November 1967.

1. Would the car have been equipped with a chrome lid air cleaner?
2. If so, does any body re-pop them?
3. Would the car been equipped with chrome valve covers?
4. If not, would the orange painted valve covers been a flat smooth finish?
5. What would the yellow line and red line be on the tach?

Thanks CRG

I know it has been sometime now, but isn’t good to have Ed “Bert” Bertrand back on here with what he brings to the site in knowledge? Thanks Ed! (Highjack is now over, back to the topic).

I was about to second that motion, but Gary beat me to the punch. I'll give it a strong third, and yes it was a long, dry spell without his help and insight -

Now - back to the thread.
