1968/69 Chevy 396/375 HP Engine Camero chevelle nova impala - $4800
This is a rare and desirable 396 big block chevy. Best I can figure, (I am not a professional) is that this engine is a 1968 375 HP engine. The engine ID on front of motor reads T0320MC, indicates it was manufactured March 20. The casting number 3916323 indicates it was cast in 1968. The casting number is associated with a 1968 375 HP engine. I was informed that as per the Vehicle Vin Stamping Number, 18L339001, the second number ( = 1968, and (L) = Built in Los Angeles, with the remaining numbers being associated with vin of the car it came from. I assume this engine was from a 4 speed car as there is a pilot bushing in the back of the crank. Check the numbers and see if they match up to your car. If you don't have original numbers matching block, one showing that it's correct to your car would be a really nice way to add value to your prized possession. This would be a great engine for a Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Caprice, Impala, El Camino or Corvette. It's in great shape for a rebuild. All the parts are standard sizes. The engine block, heads, and steel crank were just magnafluxed by a local engine shop and guaranteed rebuildable. Dimple Rods and pop up pistons have some light surface rust which of course affects nothing. All of the 4 bolt main caps are in place and this block is ready for your classic. All packaging and Shipping costs to be paid by customer and is not included. Can ship to a business address, residential shipping is an additional cost.
