1967 Muncie speedo cable hole question

I guess all I needed was to look it up in the 1967 Camaro AIM. This clip from section M20 Sheet A6 clearly shows that the speedo cable mounting holes would be drilled only if the car came with a Muncie 4-spd and an L48, L35 or L78 (aka 350 or 396). My car clearly has these holes which appears to be factory drilled so yay for me...

Curious....do you have 2 or 3 clip holes drilled?

three. I didn't notice the third one along the hump until I saw this page in the AIM. my car us just full of holes from when it was a drag car.

The reason I asked is because there seems to have been 2 or 3 holes on some cars. My 67 convertible has only 2. I figured with the convertible reinforcements welded to the floor prevented 3 from being used. But coupes seem to be a hit-or-miss between 2 or 3 holes.

Could be an accidental factory omission on yours.  I know that the page in the AIM was revised on 4-14-67 with the note "redrawn & redesigned" so perhaps they added the third clip on that date ?

Here's where the holes are on mine (built 3rd week June 1967) that were not pictured in my earlier posts.

Norwood cars typically have all three, but LA cars typically only have two! Not sure why. Perhaps the surfer dudes in LA were lazy and itching to hit the waves!

  I checked and see I have a clip at #3 in the picture Chris posted (as well as the clip where the cable enters the FW) but nothing at #2. I felt around the #2 floor area and located a dimple that I think is it and it is in the middle of were the lower and upper speedometer cables are attached. I wonder if the line worker drilled only 2 holes based on the 4N and 2L codes on the trim tag? That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Interesting to look at these anomalies.
