Good luck using them on some reproduction doors! We've had to leave them off in the "rear" positions on both right and left doors (my right door was reskinned, my left was a whole shell - new, from Classic Industries). We had put the glass in and doing the final adjustments when we realized there was interference at the rear guide. After MANY calls to Classic, they issued a refund for over $600, claiming (after some argument) there was a "manufacturing discrepancy" that they could not remedy. So the refund got them off the hook.
In answer to the OP's question, yes, mine had them. they press against the plastic "window guides" (look like the head of a carriage bolt, but made of plastic) which are mounted on the windows, below the glass and thru the brackets and glass where it sandwiches the assembly
