Big Block 69 original cable routing
« on: May 25, 2016, 06:59:01 PM »
Is this the correct routing of the positive battery cable? The AIM says it should go behind the dip stick, but doesn't mention the starter brace. If you angle the terminal like I have it, which is like the AIM, the angle is too tight if I run it behind the brace.
Also, the clips aren't addressed in the AIM because they were on the block already when it got to Norwood. Do I have them on the correct oil pan bolts? It looks like the pic in the AIM shows the front one, but not the rear.

Honestly I dont think it matters which side of the dipstick its on as long as it follows the routing which you have correctly.

As far as the dipstick goes, I was just going off the AIM. I know none of it really matters because I'm not running my born with motor right now, but certain things I'm trying to get like they were originally so if I do decide to swap engines at some point I'll know where everything goes. Besides, I like starting at "zero" to modify things. Thanks for the feedback.
