Always like to see updates based on new info. So for the ZL-2 hood, has there been enough info or original cars presented to tell if they all had a date stamp?
Also when figuring out the math, would it be safe to assume all COPO cars had them? and all ZL-1 cars?
Another question, of the remaining hoods would more Z/28 have had them than SS ?

I agree; not much reason at the time for an SS buyer to specify a 'super scoop' hood, but of course a Z28 buyer might have as he was more interested in performance.   There would have been NO reason for a dealer ordering lot stock to specify ZL2 over the SS hood, as the SS hood was one of the major identifiers for the SS...

The oft-seen option production totals apply only when the option was specifically ordered. For example CE1 Headlight Washer shows an option total of 116 yet was standard equipment on the 37,773 Camaros ordered with Rally-Sport equipment. Same with V32 Rear Bumper Guards; 12,369 total but standard equipment on 20,302 Z/28s.

The Special Ducted Hood was included as standard equipment with COPOs 9560 & 9561 and does not figure in the production ZL2 total of 10,026. It is not listed on factory documentation for those cars. It was a required option on Z10 and Z11 and is listed on factory documentation for those cars.
