Z11 Pace Car Auction
« on: October 29, 2015, 09:27:00 PM »
There's a local auction coming up for a car that's advertised as a real Z-11 Pace Car. Very little info has been included in the listing other than the pictures below and that it's a 350, 4 speed car. What do you guys think of the tag? The rivet on the left looks like it's been drilled out.

Thanks,

Bob

Tag looks ok. Common for the caulk to fall out of the rivets.
Learning more and more about less and less...

Yeah I don't hate the tag. The valve covers are wrong, and the air cleaner is missing the decal on the lid and the emissions sticker on the side so maybe some work has been done. What's the vin I wonder?

Also noticed the AIR tubes are missing.

No info on the VIN. Guess I'll find out when I get to the auction.

This guy was into collecting Indy Pace cars. Also up for auction are a couple of '99 Trans-am Pace cars, one with 220 miles and the other with 3300 miles and '78 & '98 Corvette Pace cars. The '68 Camaro in the photo has a 427 in it....unfortunately not a Yenko. :'(
