Ran into a fellow CRG'er quite by coincidence
« on: July 04, 2015, 07:48:58 AM »
I've known this guy for lot of years.  And we've talked about his car several times, but had never seen it.  About a year ago I learned he had begun restoring it.  Today I ran into him at a Car Show, and learned he is on here.  Welcome aboard Dave D.  He is relatively new here, and also relatively new to computers, so I don't know if he has made any posts.  Anyhow, after the Car Show we ended up at his place and took a few pics., here is one. It is an original 4K, 4 spd. car, now sporting a 427 block(present when he bought the car).  Car is restored to original condition other than the engine block.  VERY nice car!

I just learned from Dave that the 427 block is a CE block.  Would be neat to find out, and be able to document, if it was changed through warranty.  He's owned the car 30 some years, so it had to have been done early on.
