Original 67 AC Condenser
« on: April 23, 2015, 11:45:29 PM »
Anyone have pictures of original 67 ac condenser. I need one and the ones most vendors have do not look correct. From memory I thought the top of the condenser fins had a downward angle like that pictured in the AIM  C60 B1.
Help will be appreciated.

Anyone had any dealings with Classic Condenser Specialists in CA.?
Does anyone have an original 67 condenser that can verify the angle shape of the fins on the top of the condenser?

Nobody has a 67 with an original AC condenser? How about a 68 as they are of the same design at the top of the condenser?

Bob you might want to talk to these guys in Stanton California, looks like they deal in AC parts. They show a 1967 condenser with p/n 3899793 ebay.  (714) 814-0474.

Vince and Paul,
Thanks for the replies but the condenser they show I do not think is correct. This is the condenser that most vendor's are selling as replacement. The condenser they show is flat on the top and I believe the fins should have a 45 degree angle on the top front edge as shown in the AIM.
CCS in California has an upgraded unit that has the angled edge I think is correct but before I plunk down $330.00 I want to make sure what I am getting.
So, anyone have a couple of pictures that can help me out.?

Do you still need this? Mines still in the car. can I get a pic of that top edge while still in the car? If so, I can get some pics for you tomorrow.
