Rochester Quad Verify?
« on: April 21, 2014, 09:32:14 PM »
This Rochester quad carb came with my 67rs 327/275hp.
7037213  Under these number are the numbers 2726. I assume this is the date code.

My car was built in Dec. of "66"
Does 2726 mean the carb was built the 272nd day of "66"?

Good one to have - 7037213 is for 327/275 hp , standard trans, A.I.R, also for 350/295 hp, standard trans, A.I.R. A more common version is probably the 7027213, same engine power combinations, S/T, W/O A.I.R.

2726 is Julian date for the 272nd day of '66, you are correct -

Good to know. However, my car is a automatic, not standard. Should it have been a 7037212?

On occasion, did the factory install carbs meant for standard trannys onto a car with automatic tranny?
