Sauron I agree some goodmark works some is junk. (by the way it is just a 64 C/10 shorted fleet side, not panel)
My point is I have seen NOS panels, original panels, and repro, and The rule of thumb still holds true for Camaro IMO, NOS panels if they came early off the machine may work, others that may have come off later, may be off farther than a repro, and may need some work to fit right. Your right James the "B" comment went right over my head.

My general point is I haven't seen any unrestored (american) cars with body gaps and spacing of todays show cars.
As far as money being tight, it just sounds like you have enough leeway to acquire the different manufactured pieces and make the best decision, and then possibly use those items left over on one of your other cars, or sell to recoup the money, and spend on something else more worth while for the car.
I think by the way you have asked your question you have your eye on the right items, and are preparing yourself to tackle those small trifles ahead of time so your build goes as smooth as possible.
