Are There Any Big Block Headers that clear Backdrive Linkage?

Asking for a guy who has an original X22 car and wants to run headers. I told him that he probably will not be able to use his backdrive linkage. Is this still the case or are there headers that work with the linkage? I am hoping that there are not as he said he would sell me the linkage. Fingers crossed. It is a 4 speed car with a Big Block.

This is also called the reverse lockout linkage. Anyone?

It can be done but you have to be handy. Someone on this site did it by flipping the lever attached to the subframe and cutting and welding an arm. I'll see if I filed it somewhere.
