All,

Is it the consensus that American Auto Wire is the best place to obtain complete wiring harnesses? Are their prices reasonable?

Thanks,
Matt

Know exactly what you need and order from RockAuto.com.  They are the cheapest from what I remember...

Thanks. We have been together a long time, good times and the bad. Hope she feels the road again this coming week. Just about done with the carb rebuild.

When I was a kid in the mid-70s, my dad was serving in the army in Germany. Right up the street in Spokane, WA, 1/2 block away, a guy had a '69 pace car, for sale. He wanted $4k for it. My Mom wanted it sooooo bad and kept contacting my Dad for permission to buy it. He never gave that permission...

Too bad 4k then 40k now maybe if she was in good shape and you had managed to hang on to her.

Around 1978, I saw a young lady driving a '69 Pacer, so I turned around, followed her til she parked it, and got the tag number.   At that time, one could call the motor vehicle dept with the tag number and get the owner info.   I called and spoke to her father, a local MD.  When I mentioned the Camaro, he asked..  'What did she do now'?  *L*.  I told him I had no idea, but I liked the car.  He told me she'd had a bunch of tickets in it, and he would sell it for $2000.   I talked to my wife, tried to talk her into it for her daily driver car as my '69 Z28 was orange/black with the pacer interior, and I thought it would make a nice 'sister/wife' car to my Z28..   but she (wife) refused to consider it, and at that time, I had no room or budget for another car to just 'sit'....   but I sure wish I'd bought it!  :)
