Does anyone have information as to what exactly RPO F41 included? I cannot find the info in either the downloadable AIM or in my print copy

F41 consisted of special front and rear springs and shocks.

No - F41 didn't affect the front stabilizer bar; only stiffer springs and different shock valving.

Maybe you can resolve a question I've always had.    For a long time, I believed the Z28 suspension WAS the F41, or the same as...   Can you compare the suspension differences between the F41 (option) that you could get on a regular camaro?  wtih the std Z28 suspension?

No, I can't, at least not as a general rule. There were LOTS of springs (computer-selected), and that program depended on many variables, primarily for ride height control to satisfy MVSS bumper height regulations, plus rate differences for suspension tuning, and ride rates for anything other than standard springs were never published. Shock selection was less complex, although no valving details were ever made available.

Would a '68 Camaro with the F41 option come with multi-leaf rear springs.  I helped a friend years ago put Hi-Jackers on a big block car (396/325) that only had single leafs.  I thought at the time that this was strange.  It also had drum brakes all around.  And it was an SS.  This was in '71.  It was a 4-speed car, but with a Saginaw not a Muncie.  In '71 it was an un-molested car with under 25K on the speedo.

I don't remember if it had a 12 bolt.

Doesn't compute. Even an SS350 would have had a Muncie and 12 bolt axle with multi-leaf springs. Discs were optional.

That car was way more messed with than you remember. Sounds like someone swapped a BB into a 327/4-speed chassis.

I know it's possible.  The car was just in great condition with low miles.  On the other hand my '68 Z had been run pretty hard by a previous owner but still the original drive train.
