Owner's Manual - 3rd Edition, 1969

I have a 3rd edition (April 1969) Owner's Manual, and would like to know if there is any way to determine if it is original, or a reproduction?
Not concerned with value, just original or not.
Any help much appreciated.

Hey Tim. I have a reproduction and an original to look at. The Reproduction says it's a reprint and the original doesn't. I don't have them in front of me to check but I think there are some page color differences also on a few pages. I'll look today and add what I find.

Thanks Gary, appreciate it; I have a reproduction around the place somewhere too, but darned if I can find it to check. Must be in that "safe place" along with all the other stuff I can't find.....
I seem to recall the reproductions (reprints) are all the same edition/revision/version, so maybe that will help determine if it is original or not, too?

HELM, Inc was (and still is) the original publisher for service literature for GM (as well as other companies) cars and trucks. Shop manuals, owner's manuals, overhaul manuals, service manuals, etc...

Here's what the HELM pages (1 and 2) look like in the back of the 69 owners manual.

Tim, my reproduction don't have those pages in the back either, but the oem 3rd edition does.

It is Important to note - That Canadian Delivered Cars used a different manual, they had a Red Front Cover instead of Blue, and they dont contain the Helm pages.
