Can you post the length of the valve stem also - from the rim to the tip?  Thanks
FYI....my original 1968 Z28 spare tire's valve stem is 1 5/16" from the rim to the top of stem.  As far as I know the stem and valve cap are original.  The valve cap has a smooth top and has a "S" inside the cap.

Would show my jack date but it wasn't stamped very heavy and you can barely make out a piece of the numbers.

Darrell, can you also post a close up picture of the date stamp on the jack rivet? It appears to be 0L which would be November of 1970!

Ed

Ed, you would be correct it is OL..  Honestly I had never thought to look at the date of the jack but for whatever reason my father must have changed or swapped it out for whatever reason.  He is no longer around so I can not ask him.  Thanks for pointing it out though.  Now I know.

I noticed that you have the number "26" in grease pencil on the spare tire....do you also have the same number in grease pencil on the firewall and inside the front lower valence panel.  My Z28 has the number "22" inside the spare wheel and the other places mentioned.
