Hood Insulation
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:03:26 PM »
What determined the underside hood insulation? Did it come into play when a specific option or engine size was picked?

Yes sir I put one on mine when I rebuilt it last year and you can get them  HERE  The shipping is high because it has to go by big truck as freight and I had to have a drop point because freight companies will not deliver to residents.  If you want a bigger picture send me your email address in a PM and I can mail you one but it really does fit and look nice.

Daniel,
I have one still in the box mfg'ed by MONTCO in Mena Ark.. I never installed it becuse it did not seem to have the long fibers like originals, seemed more of a matted material. Do you know who was the MFG of yours?.
   Thank you,
    Victor

VT  I forgot this weekend was Easter and I had family home from out of town. Never fear I'm going tomorrow to start getting ready to bring it out for the summer and I can look then. Sorry buddy but I'll get it tomorrow.
