Stud Replacement in original rear spoiler for '69?

Looks like if you ground off that extra unthreaded part of that stud it would look the same.

It's closer than anything else I've seen, but besides the 'unthreaded' end, the 'nut' portion in the center isn't correct for late cars either;   Mine 09C car has a perfectly round (5/*" D), very thin (1/16") as a stop for the stud as it screws into the spoiler.   If your extra spoiler has such a stuc, and you can get it out..  I wiwould buy it from you...

You be the judge if they are correct.  But this is what they are all selling...

Those kit(s) might be correct for early cars, I can't say, but they are different than my 09C '69 car.   They would probably 'function', and they are closer than anything else I've seen available for sale, but differ in several respects from what is on my car.

Something else you could do is get a piece of 1/4 in. threaded rod, cut it to correct length, and spot weld a 1/4 in. flat washer in the desired position.  I would spot weld it on the top side, so it wouldn't  show.  Just an idea.

Yes, that would be the closest *simulation* of the original part that I can think of also...  I might have to resort to something like that.. but I've got a little time to keep looking for an original stud before I have to reinstall the spoiler..
