« on: February 11, 2012, 04:50:08 PM »
Anyone have any tips on installing the front piece brake line on a two piece set up?? ( from master to metering block)  Looks like its gonna be fun.  ???  The rear line went in easy with no problems.

What problem are you having? If the lines are shaped correctly and with the correct ends installed , it should assemble with no problems.

Thanks for the reply Mike.  The line has to snake in between the steering box and frame, and then over the subframe and to the block.  The install of this line looks like a big PITA.  I'm attempting the job in the morning.  In simple terms, do I have to remove the steering box ?  unbolt subframe bushing?  etc....  I hope you get the point LOL  THX.

Oh...I see how you are doing it. Yea, there's work involved if everything is already assembled.
I really can't offer much in that case other than..have patience!

If you can get it on a lift or jacked up real high it's easier to feed from the top down. Remove the master cylinder and booster and it will feed down thru that opening. Have someone under the car to help sway it upward as you feed it thru so it don't bottom out on the floor.
