2 Real Z/28's Saved
« on: July 28, 2011, 10:29:08 PM »
In the last Month I have seen 2 real original #'s matched 1969 Z/28's being restored within a 30 mile radius in the greater Los Angeles CA area.
First car is 715 51 51 08D X77D80 second car is 711 57 57 10B (small tag) LA car. Hidden vin matched the vin on dash although I did not see trans or engine but was told that everything matches!
This is great to see and was gald that they are being saved and restored to original condition.
I hope the owners will add them to the registery.

I agree, this is encouraging for the Camaro community that people are still seeing value and fun in these old cars.

Both cars as far as I know will be restored correctly! No X rams and phony JL8 set ups
Both cars have standard drum brake rear ends as it should be but have not seen finished engines in either car but will advise
Restore them the way they came down and off the line!

you can add mine to that list as the third one in LA.

my real 69 Z28 is at a place called DH Automotive in Van Nuys.

i just can't wait for it to be done though, I'm hoping by the end of October or November.

We started back in May
