68 fuel gauge
« on: February 20, 2011, 02:56:44 AM »
Is this the resistor that is used for the dash fuel gauge (the white thing at the bottom)?  Or does something go on the outside between the two nuts on the back of the pod?

Yes, thats the gauges wire wound resistor, should measure somewhere around 46 ohms I think.

Can I check resistance with that thing the way it is or do I have to take it off?  I'm getting ready to put this in and don't want to have to take it off again if something doesn't work.  Also, does something connect to those nuts on the back or does the gauge work from the connector that plugs into the pod?

The signals come from the plug and through the circuit board.
