Here are a couple of photos of the Parnelli Jones Cougar at Daytona International Speedway sometime in early February 1967, prior to the running of the Trans Am race, but to me the more interesting photo is the one with the passenger door open on the 1967 Mustang.  If you look behind the Mustang you can see a white 1967 Camaro with a blue painted roof with stars on it.  Could this car have something to do with Joie Chitwood Jr.?  He would have been at Daytona racing in the Trans Am race, albeit with a Camaro devoid of the blue/star roof treatment.  That roof treatment would appear on his race car Camaro at Sebring 1967 I believe.  The Camaros he used in the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show also had this painted roof treatment.  Perhaps it was his personal car or a family members.  Does anyone know?

Great pictures, Scott.  Thanks for the link.  Yes, that is a Joie Chitwood Thrill Show Camaro behind the Mustang, not the race car.  The race car used a darker shade of blue than the Thrill Show cars did.  Not sure why.  It's possible the Caprice and Corvette behind the Mustang were also cars that the Chitwoods brought to the track.  In some of the other pics at your link, the Mustang has a Ring Free racing team decal on the door and the Ring Free team had a bunch of female drivers entered in the race.  The ladies had black sweaters and the person in the car appears to have a black sweater across her lap.  Donna Mae Mims was one of the drivers on that team and the woman in the car is wearing pink like Donna Mae always did, however I don't believe her hair was quite that long at that time.

Your welcome Jon.  Thanks for the info.  I did notice the picture of the Mustang with the Ring Free sticker on the side and all the women standing beside it.  I had forgotten the fact that they were an all women driver lineup in a Mustang.  I went back and looked at the photos and I believe the woman on the right in this photo is Janet Guthrie.  Is that Donna on the left with the pink shoes and pink sunglasses in her hand?  As you are probably aware, Donna was part of the team but didn't drive the Mustang.  She drove their second entry which was the #96 ASA 411 with co-driver Suzy Dietrich.  I must admit I didn't recognize the car they drove.  I had to look it up.
Cool images!

More images of the AS 411 and the women drivers of the Ring Free Racing team can be seen here: https://sportscardigest.com/1967-24-hours-of-daytona-race-profile/

Here a couple photos of the Camaro that Curtis Turner drove during the 1967 Paul Revere 250 held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida at midnight on July 3, 1967.
