Engine Lift Brackets
« on: January 06, 2011, 04:09:26 AM »
I have in the past run onto discussions on the correct brackets for the 69SS L48's. I can not seem to locate much reference to them now.
I think in one, there was a mention by Jerry that the double bolt bracket being sold for the front was incorrect.
My motor only has one on it at this time and it is a single with the letter K. This, and correct me if I"m wrong is the correct rear Bracket. What is the the correct front one? How would one describe the front one and is it lettered?

OK, These are some of the threads that I thought I had seen before. The picture on the 1st thread and some of the comments on the driver side-front bracket don't seem to match descriptions, or am I loosing it.
Picture seems to show the bracket in the front manifold bolt hole, but in two of these threads it states that it is in the 2nd????
