Sorry to bring this topic up again, I know there's numerous threads on it already, but it's due for another caning
My conundrum is wether my 12C 68 [L34 auto] would qualify for the round ID disc pressed into the side of the body, or a roll stamped number.
The changeover from disc to stamp seems not well defined at this stage.
Also, it seems that the correct carby for mine would be a 7028218?
That being true, then the 4th digit [8] is for model year, not calendar year? and the date code would need to be somewhere around 3507?
