69 space saver spare canister color
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:29:46 AM »
Can anybody tell me the correct orange for the 69 space saver spare  bottle, or at least something close. Mine is the shorter one with the rounded top, could be an amc unit

The first page of this thread shows two canisters for the '69 Camaro. The first one is a service replacement, and the second is factory. Although its difficult to judge color from photographs, I have to agree with Phillip; its closer to red but there is certainly a lot of orange as well.

Post a picture of your bottle.
So, doesn't your bottle have a label to tell if it was AMC or GM?
As Marty observes, the GM color has more orange in it.

My bottle has nothing on it, the cardboard sleeve is blank as well. I agree that it looks more red
