In 1978 I bought a freshly painted black Z28 RS from a 1977 classmate. It didn't have the original drivetrain, but the custom, wood-grain interior was complete. It's loaded with options, including: tilt steering, remote mirror, rear window defogger, speed indicator, clock, 8-track & power windows. The cowl tag shows it to be originally burgundy with parchment vinyl rood, 67 E, (the roof trim was in the trunk), and b&w houndstooth seats, 713. I assume the stripes were white. It was built in Norwood in late June. It has the code X33D80. I believe it might be part of a run of less than 200 luxury edition 69 Z28's. The hood is stock, I don't think it had cowl induction. Let me know your opinion of this car. Thanks, Jay
