I believe that is the original trunk lid for my 68 Z.  It was hard to see the date on it, but it looked like a D and two numbers.

i bought what i thought was a 67 repop trunk lid,but it does not fit right. it appears to be a little narrower than the one on the car. what gives?  is it just a poor off shore product or is it a 68 or 69 hood? is there an easy way to tell 67 from 68/69?? thanks

The '67 lid doesn't have the four holes in the rear rib of the inner panel for the spoiler studs, and only has two holes in the right rear corner of the inner panel for the Camaro emblem studs. The '68-'69 lids had the four spoiler stud holes, and had two additional large angled clearance holes just forward of the standard Camaro emblem holes for use when the emblem was moved forward when the spoiler was installed.
