Paint code 61 (Burnished Brown)
« on: January 13, 2010, 12:13:00 AM »
How many X-33 cars were produced with paint code 61 (Burnished Brown)?  Someone claims they have an X-11 car  with code 61  (one of 214)?

Maybe this will help. This say's 2.5 % Burnished Brown of the total production the way I'm reading it.

JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW THE 214 NUMBER CAME UP FOR X-11,  WE KNOW TOTAL PRODUCTION, BUT DO WE KNOW HOW MANY X-11,X-33,X-44,  ETC. CARS WERE PRODUCED? THESE  COLOR CODE AVERAGES WERE BASED ON TOTAL PRODUCTION.  THERE COULD BE  5 TIMES AS MANY  S.S. CARS PRODUCED IN CODE 61 THEN  Z-28'S FOR EXAMPLE!

Exactly. That's the best you're gonna get since the General didn't keep color production info.

I will add to your total - I have a 61 61 X11 SS... one of potentially 874 ( 2.5% of 34932) although that may not be accurate...
