Casting Dates

Question for you guys. On a 08E build car or any car for that matter should the casting date of the heads be before, after or real close to the casting date of the block? I am referencing a small block 300 HP setup.

They may or may not be within a few days or weeks of the block casting date, but in any event, the casting date on the heads must be prior to the stamped engine assembly date on the pad.

on my 06A 350/300 - My heads are late may (E) dated
The heads are E22 and the block is E20
therfore the heads were cast 2 days after the block
with the engine assembly of May 25th
