Seat belt boot
« on: June 05, 2008, 01:13:59 PM »
I have an early 67 RS convertible  (2nd week of Nov).  The original seat belts were the standard type, with the boot covers.  I have seen reference on the internet to the boot covering the inside bolts only.  It seems that alll 4 front bolts should have boot covers.  Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the link.  I had read the artical before, but must have missed the section on the inboard bolt.  Do you know at what point the transition was made to only a boot on the outside bolt?

You need to read it again. The outside boot went away and the retractor replaced it. I think the inside boot went away at that time, but I'm not sure.
