Where is the proper location for the fuel filter on a 69 Z28. I haven't been able to find it anywhere. The filter is currently attached on the fule line and into the pump

It is my understanding that the 69Z didn't use an in-line filter.

The DZ carburetor has two brass filters in the fuel inlets on the bowls.
