Floorpans.....Goodmark? ideas?
« on: November 20, 2007, 02:10:22 PM »
Well I bought the 67 RS Convert.  It will be a while till she is ready (est 1 year).  The link to the website to see the progress should be up soon.

I have all the new sheet metal for the car (GM Panels) except the floor pans.  In the car the left is OK but the right was paritally cut out.  I was thinking of replacing the whole pan, I think that it would look a lot better.  Has anyone used Goodmark's full floorpans and were they happy with them.  The full pan is around $400.  Just looking for some past experiences and discussion.  Thanks  :)

I have on my 69 Z/28. Fit great! Keep in mind that you are doing a convertible so you will have to be very careful when cutting the floors out. Make sure your innner and outer rockers are solid before doing the floor or you will end up with your car folded in two as soon as you open a door.
It's impossible to have a valid certificate of authenticity without verifying that it is not a rebody.

Thanks for the heads up...I was looking at Classics pan too.... NPD has a full pan as well.  I think the full pan is the way to go.  Not sure what the difference is between the two companies.  Maybe they come from the same production place

Classic's is a full floor pan for a Vert--but can be used for a Coupe.

There is only the rear braces (kinda under the front of the rear seat) that is different on the repro full floors, you can take them out or leave them.
