The car itself is still around (at least as of 2007) as it was on ebay by seller blackmon638hjg on 07-03-07. It was purchased by motorcycleman35 and put up for sale again by motorcycleman35 on 08-04-07 with a buy it now price of $25,750.00, and was purchased by kensingtonlw.
The car had a non-matching numbers engine (home built 302) and transmission (Turbo 400), but was known to be a Z28.
It would be cool to contact kensingtonlw to see if he (or she) still has the car, but it appears ebay no longer has a member search feature.
