IROC SEATS IN MY 67

Pulled seats from an 89 Roc and has anyone done this? what mods were needed? i have a plan butwant to hear you out.

I am not sure of the third gen seats, but I put a set of fourth gen in my 69 and the only mods I had to do was the rear outside brackets needed to be turned inward and the rear near the tranny hump needed to be drilled out.  They fit fine in the front and the height was decent.

Hey Goat--I have an '87 IROC and I can tell ya that the seats are fantastic--guessing '89 is more or less the same. They have great lumbar support and ride great. They sure work great on a road trip. Good luck.

yup , i love the fact they'll recline....one complaint i always got with my other first gens.......mostly chicks. any how i did bend the bracket towards the appropiate orientation......seems i need a spacer or shim under the bracket and need to drill out holes for adjustment......hope this post helps out future builds. ill try post pics later.
