Bumping this thread. It's my car's engine Ed was searching for, but the ramp truck went to Nevada,....So that might be where the truck and/or the engine could be.

I do check old trucks sometimes.

The 428 CJ engine from my dad’s old stock car ended up in an old Ford pickup. It was not a show truck. Whereabouts unknown.

I'm in RI so, I always keep an eye out for the truck in this state and when I travel into CT. where the truck with the 302 in it went originally after the racing days were over. Hearing it went to Nevada after that,...that really opens up the possibility of it being almost anywhere now. Probably been machined, no stampings left on the pad, and in someone else's Z28 by now.

I would post a photo but everything I try doesn't work. Directly from my computer using the attachments, all available Photobucket links, and just copying and pasting. Oh well.

That's not the photo of the truck, obviously. I'll try again.
