1969 COPO cowl tag
« on: February 20, 2022, 11:12:35 PM »

I have always thought all Norwood June built Camaro's had a 6A build date. This documented COPO has a 6C build date. Any idea's on this?

Cause it’s a repo tag.  Copo connection is not what I’d call certified..  Most likely a made up car from Canadian docs but it’d need an in person inspection.

Says in the listing the tag is a reproduction.

From ad: “With a restoration this detailed, the engine bay looks award-worthy, too. When you want a big muscle machine, there's no substitute for big block power. More than just filling the engine bay with the massive V8, this one really gets the details correct,…”
Not to pick this thing apart, but too bad they couldn’t have had a fella, like me, that know these cars,  been consulted to fix all the common , but egregious,  resto deficiencies ? The seller rating is all you need to know to see that a night in Vegas is probably a better bet on getting a reputable represented car.

Agreed, anything less than 100% is unacceptable when it comes to ebay car sales.

Streetside is a big consignment dealer. Most of the bad feedback is from buyers trusting the sellers description and buying the car sight unseen or buying online and someone else buys the same car in person before they close the deal.

I have visited their showrooms. They have some great cars and some cars that are not as real as represented by the person consigning. It's buyer beware as usual.
