Comfort Weave Seats

Does anyone have any recent recommendations for where to buy correct comfort weave material? I took a seat from my '69 to a upholstery shop hoping he could simply stitch a separated seam, but he said the woven material was to brittle and that he could replace just the comfort weave portions since the rest of the seats still in great condition , so I'm looking for the correct material or replace the whole seat cover if correct reproductions are available but have not seen any updates on this site or others.

I was about to contact them until I read all of the negative google ratings, and there were a lot! I did notice that some Camaro vendors claim that they have the correct woven covers but not available at this time, has anyone used the so called correct ones that have been recently advertised?

I had to deal with them for mohair for my 33 Chevy. I bought my headliner & my vinyl top for my Camaro there. Products are great. Service sucks....Joe

Just buy the material and have it sewn somewhere local... it took them about 8 months to sew a set of covers they promised in 4 months.

Thanks, that’s what I’ll do, the local guy said he can stitch in the comfort weave into my original seats because the rest of them are perfect ,I’ll let you know how they turn out, may be awhile, seems like everything is backed up these days!

I bought 1.5 yards of black comfortweave from SMS back in March 2021. No issues getting it, they did not say there was a shortage of it. The fabric is nicely woven and looks like the original, but it is hard to tell without getting it on the seats. The 1.5 yard should be enough to do both front seats plus extra. I have not gotten to the sewing part of the build.
It was $179 per yard, so $268.50 for 1.5 yards. Shipping was $45.50 to NJ.

Took about 6 months to get my 4 yards of Comfortweave. Got a local guy rebuilding my 1970 seats. It looks like I will have at least 2 yards leftover. Trying to keep as much of the original material as possible.
