Wix Racing oil filters

Anyone use these for their street Camaros? Says for racing only. Wix says they are of higher micron filtration, but less cleaning. Would that matter if the oil is changed regularly?

Wix, Fram, GM/Delco, and even Motorcraft are quality oil filters. As mentioned, 'Racing' filters are of higher micron filtration protection.

After working for NAPA & cutting open oil filters, the only filter I would use is Wix & maybe Baldwin. Engines are way too expensive.....Joe

Wix Racing filter will not catch small particles. Why would you want that? They have much higher flow rates but that is like buying cat food on sale when you do not even have a cat. Overkill in one measure but underperforming in the one that really counts.
The regular Wix filter has enough flow rate to filter your oil so you should use that. It protects your engine better.

I agree with Joe. All we run on tractors are Baldwin or Wix (NAPA) on the ones that are not Deere. Deere dealer is close so we use them on most of the green ones.
