IIR, Bryon worked on the shifter report on main page. I reference this a lot. Thankful for the good and helpful info. Hats off to all who made this a concise informative report with many pictures.
However, there is a picture not in this report that I would greatly appreciate added. That would be a picture of the 1969 Hurst Shift Levers. I want to have a reference for the Muncie & Saginaw 4 speeds. And 3 speed Saginaw if different.
As an aside, I read somewhere that 3 speed floor shift 69s do not use the Hurst handle? If I am misinformed, I apologize. I’d like more info on the 3 speed floor shifter. I acquired a 3 speed shifter that the body has a single 3/8-16 bolt that holds it together. It had a bayonet exactly like the 4 speed Hurst which I robbed to repair my factory Hurst. Would like to know what that shifters application was for?
