My 69 (02A build)has the original born with engine, 350/300hp build date 1/30/69. The distributor, 1111488 with a build date of 8H29 seems early to be in that engine. Any thoughts on whether or not it's the original distributor?

Dated within the previous 6 months is acceptable, so the distributor could be and, if the car hasn't been restored in the past, probably is the original, there was not first in first out with parts at the time... it was first in last out.
