Caveat Emptor...tag swap?

124379L527980

That VIN was final-assembled on or about March 28, 1969. The body tag has an 01A date.

One or both tags may not be original to the car.

Kind of odd. Neither tag makes the car anything special to risk the problems.

Could be a decades-old rebody. Consignor may not know.

I can remember at least one car that had a VIN plate from one plant and a cowl tag from the other. Can't recall if the hidden partials aligned with either, but it was definitely a 'Frankenmaro'.
