Caveat Emptor..too late for JL8
« on: August 21, 2017, 02:43:28 PM »
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevrolet-Camaro-/332351535530?hash=item4d61b1f9aa:g:nJkAAOSwjuBZmhjv&vxp=mtr

124379N693672 was final-assembled on or about Tuesday September 30, 1969. JL8 was cancelled in production July 21, 1969. Added along with the cross-ram, headers, TI ignition, sway bar.

Sold at Barrett-Jackson LV 2011 for $84,700. At that time it was not a Rally-Sport, did not have headers or the body-color bumper. The listing does not mention JL8.

Beats me. It is mentioned three times in the ad text:

Fully restored Norwood built X33 Rally Sport Z28 with 37,000 miles

A genuine X33 Rally Sport Z28...

special badging that were part of the Rally Sport package...

Text also mentions headers and body-color bumper, not seen in the photos.

A poor ad, composed by someone that is not knowledgeable about 1st Gen Camaros and his own car.

Maybe Klingon?  lol

How are you doing Darrell, you make it through Irma ok? We were afraid there for a while that we were going to take a direct hit in Tampa. My 67 Chevelle is in the wife's garage there.  :o

Yes Len we made it thanks.  Lost power for 7 days but thankfully we have a 15000w portable generac gen which powered the entire house ac and most other.  Just a pain in the rump for the Mrs to refuel daily as it sucked 30 gals a day.   She had to operate while I was on duty.  Was stuck at the firehouse Sat thru Monday mng as she rode thru.  This was the final straw..lol, in 3 weeks we're having generac bury a 500 gal propane tank with a stationary unit.

I was just in the keys (islamorada) yesterday.. what devastion.

I'm sure you were sweating it also. :(
