I would not recommend any McLeod product. Why? Because of bad quality and failures I experienced. The 'best' clutch I ever used, was Hays.

I use and recommend Centerforce Clutches as do a number of 302 Z28 guys...
Easy pedal and great clamping force.
What ever you do make sure your bellhousing is properly aligned using a dial indicator and offset pins if needed.

I agree with James. I have the center force in My Z28 and it works very nice. I have LUK in my 67 Vettes and more pressure to the floor.

Center force clutch here and appreciate the light pedal. Didn't like the McCleod at all; higher pedal resistance and didn't like the engagement just never felt smooth.

Centerforce II kit resurfaced flywheel. Light pedal smooth engagement. I've used 3 of them over the years.

Bought a Hays kit 3 years ago, pressure plate was bad. Will never use them again.
