X77 Cowl Tag, Real or Not
« on: May 28, 2020, 04:27:44 PM »
The owner is selling this as 69 Z/28, engine is listed as a 350, no protect o plate, no window sticker and no owner history, just an X77 Cowl Tag.
I would appreciate opinions on the originality of the Cowl Tag since "for entertainment" tags are so prevalent.

Two of the characters do not match up with the many tag pics I have. Plus, the right rivet definitely messed with.

Always be suspicious of any 10 10 cars.
Bryon / 1968 Camaro SS 396 coupe - now old school 468 big block
1967 Camaro RS/SS 396 coupe L35/M40 - 4 generation family project
Looking for 68 Camaro with body # NOR 181016

I have a picture of the tag off the car.
The drivetrain is not original.
Tag looks reasonable. VIN looks reasonable. Is that the original body? - I don't know.
