Hi Jim,

Not sure what your paint code is, but this link may help: http://www.camaros.org/exterior.shtml#BlackoutPaint
My 67 L35 Tahoe Turquoise SS/RS has the black tail panel but does not have the rockers blacked out.

Rocker panel blacked out was part of the RS option in '68 (67 RS cars used chrome molding)
Tail panel black out indicated 396 engine.

  Keep safe,

Corvette bronze is a beautiful color if the paint is mixed correctly. It's your car but I would leave it as is...Joe

Thanks Jim. I added the front guards & the style trim years ago. Today I wish I would've left it as original....Joe

I like Lemans Blue - who doesn't?    BUT ... It's a sin to repaint a RARE and beautiful Corvette Bronze '68 to a 'common' lemans blue...   Just put a little elbow grease into polishing/waxing that beautiful bronze and you'll get so many compliments, that blue will be very far from your mind!
