Have a 12B 1969 SS Camaro what is the two letter code for the Spave Saver that the car would of had from the assembly line?

XA wheels are 1973-1975 Nova (also 1975 Camaro) with the 14x5 "standard" wheels.

I have to admit there's very little information about the space saver wheel and tire assembly, but if you look at N65 in the AIM, Sheet A1, Item 6, you'll see it references the 3935715 Tire & Wheel Assembly Chart. This is what the line workers used to select the correct tire and wheel for each particular order.

In the case of the 9792737 wheel itself, this is a service part number because production received the wheel and the tire as an assembled part.

would think there are two wheel assemblies , one assembly for cars equipped with L34 , L35 , L46 , L48 , L78 , PW7 and PW8 ( would come with 9793470 Inflator ASM) and other assembly would be your default (would come with 9793469 Inflator ASM). Both assemblies would have same "HI" stamped rim.

i would think a 7.75 X 14 tire would be on a 6" rim and not on a 5"   "HI" rim.

There are at least 6 ECLs for N65 so there were differences of some sort.

Just a WAG, but I believe (with no proof whatsoever) that there was only one wheel used for the space saver, P/N 9792737. This wheel was also used on the Chevelle and the Nova with N65. I can't find ANY info on the full size cars with 15" wheels and N65, but for the 14" wheel, it was probably the same 9792737.  I also believe (again, without any proof whatsoever), that the Olds and Buick divisions used the same wheel. I KNOW Pontiac did since I found the information in the Pontiac P&A, so division-wide would make sense.

I'm also fairly certain the different ECLs were dependent on which tires were installed on the car (PL2, PL3, PL4, PL5, etc...). This would have dictated the tire size for the space saver, so different ECLs.
