Here is an interesting picture of a 1967 Camaro RS/SS 350 coupe with the words "CHEVROLET CAMARO OFFICIAL PACE CAR INDIANAPOLIS 500 MILE RACE" written on the side door. Other writing appears on the front fender but it is unfortunately obscured by the women standing in front of the car. The only letters I can make out are "ONLY" and "FORMAN" Might it be part of the word PERFORMANCE? Could this be part of the name of the Chevrolet dealer that provided the car?
This picture was taken at Langley Speedway in Langley, British Columbia, Canada some time in 1967.
Notice the aftermarket "Magnum 500" type wheels on the car. They look similar to the ones on the Black Panther 1967 Camaro (4th photo)
I spotted the photo on the Pace Car and Truck Owners and Enthusiasts Facebook page. I originally thought it was taken at a Langley Speedway that was located in Virginia but after doing some research I figured out that it was the Langley Speedway located in British Columbia Canada. The photo was originally posted on the Langley Speedway Historical Society Facebook page:
